Staples Canada was extremely successful selling to small businesses. I was asked to plan and launch a business model targeting mid-sized companies.

  • Discovery investigation / business plan for new program targeting businesses with 8 to 50 employees.

  • Defined, planned and launched new selling channel with dedicated catalog, website, salesforce and customer service team

  • MS Access / VBA + BRIO customer profitability reporting merging sales, margin and customer data to give customized 360-degree view of business trends and performance

  • Pilot program beat all its metrics and rolled out nation-wide after three months, a year ahead of schedule. 

  • Promoted to business owner for program, directly managing Merchandising and Marketing with dotted line for Account Management and Customer Service (10 reports, $20 million revenue)
